The team at Stainton Lighting Design Services offer independent lighting and electrical design consultancy services.

Our company was formed in 1996 following the abolition of Cleveland County Council where both founding partners held key positions. In 2007 an operational decision was made to convert the partnership to a limited company.

Within the company we have over one hundred years experience in lighting design and maintenance. We have recently carried out extensive street lighting, decorative floodlighting designs and maintenance management for a number of Local Authorities and Development Companies including, Sunderland City, Middlesbrough Borough Council, Stockton Borough Council, Scarborough Borough Council, York City, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Sir Robert McAlpine A19 BDFO, Balfour Beatty (Aurora Sunderland Street Lighting Ltd), Halcrow Group and Bureau Veritas to name a few.
